Cycling in Victoria BC is awesome because..

single-day-tours

Victoria boasts more cyclists per capita than any other Canadian city, and these are just a few reasons why.

1. Known as the “Garden City” for its annual flower count, Victoria has the mildest climate in Canada hosting spectacular trails, bike lanes and beautiful oceanfront neighborhoods with stunning mountain and ocean views for all levels of cyclists.

2. Lochside Trail, formerly a railway line the trail stretches from Swartz Bay to Victoria is an easy ride past beaches, country lanes, the Blenkinsop Trestle and quiet residential streets. We offer 2 drop offs to start your ride, one from the start of the trail (ferry terminal), or you can start your adventure with a trip to the world famous Butchart Gardens then ride back to Victoria at your own pace.

3. Also a former railway line, the Galloping Goose Trail is a picturesque ride thru urban, rural and wilderness scenery from the mountains to the seashore. We drop you off at the unique Sooke Potholes. On the trails back, ride across the spectacular Selkirk Trestle as you return to Victoria.

4. A seaside tour of the vibrant and historic Inner Harbour to Fisherman’s Wharf (float home city) then along Dallas Road with breathtaking views of the Olympic Mountains, thru Beacon Hill Park (site of the world’s tallest free-standing totem pole), our legendary landmark Craigdarroch Castle, the Oak Bay Marina nestled in a sheltered bay are just parts of the endless island attractions. We offer bike rentals so you can set off on your own or join one of our organized guided tours running daily.

5. Food, wine & beer! We love it all and live in an epicurean mecca surrounded by local farmers, wineries and micro-brew pubs. Victoria boasts the second highest number of restaurants per capita in North America (San Francisco is #1). Best way to eat and drink guilt free, on a bike of course.
The BEST way to see Victoria, Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands and the Pacific Marine Circle Route is on a bike, you pick your ride and we’ll take care of the rest.
